Studying an NHS course as a second degree?

I'm thinking about studying Radiology or Radiotherapy in September. Only problem is I've already got a degree from 10 years ago and it was then that I applied for Student Finance the first time. I still haven't paid back the loans so I know I can't just do any second degree for free, but I understand the NHS will cover the tuition expenses of Radiology courses if you plan on working for the NHS after graduation. Thing is, I'm struggling to find clear information with regards to my situation (someone who's already finished a degree) Can I apply to a Radiotherapy course without having to pay in full? Can I get any sort of funding to take care of living costs while studying? Is SFUK gonna put a horse's head in my bed? Would be especially nice to hear from someone who has done two courses before. Love you.

To be a radiologist you need to do a medicine degree first and then specialise. My reply is assuming that you mean radiotherapy/therapeutic radiography? If so, then SFE classes radiotherapy/therapeutic rad degree courses as exceptions from previous study so you would be eligible to receive both maintenance and tuition fee loans again despite aready having a degree. If you study at a uni in England, you would also be able to claim the annual training grant and special payment (£6k per year) from the NHS Learning Support Fund:

Edit: thanks for the advice* I had your words confused at first but now I get it. So in summary: I can do the radtiotherapy course but to be a proper Radiologist I'll need a medicene course. Cool
