Uni of Birmingham or Uni of Sheffield?

I am wanting to do psych at uni and I'm stuck between Birmingham or Sheffield.
In terms of employment after graduating, Birmingham is better however the city of Sheffield was really appealing to me unlike Birmingham. It is also close to the peaks and I would prefer more nature than city. Also the accommodation at Sheffield seems cheaper and nicer too. I'd also prefer a safer city and I hear Birmingham is quite rough.
However, I think the priority is the quality of teaching and the course over the scenery though. What is it like to study at Birmingham and Sheffield? What is the community like and support from the universities? Thank you

Both are great unis. UoB is actually in a lovely part of Birmingham - Edgbaston (where the cricket ground is). In second and third year the students move just outside of the campus into a place called Selly Oak which is student central and very safe. Pretty much every house within a mile of the campus in Selly Oak is a student house so it feels as though you are still in a University Halls of residence. There is an Aldi and lots of great eateries there. Birmingham is a campus uni so when you are on campus its got a great feel and atmophere with lots of cafes and eateries.

Sheffield Uni is not a campus uni and is more integrated into the west of the city - its still a 10 minute bus ride to get into the heart of the city. The different courses are housed in different buildings along the main high street (A57) which runs through the uni. Its a great city and university.

Honestly, its best to go on an open day and get a feel for both unis, both are wonderful and you would enjoy either one. If you like the countryside then Sheffield is for you - the peak district is on your doorstep.
