MOCKS ARE OVERRR! I spoke to some of my teachers today and they told me that I did really well, so I'm so much less nervous for results now 💗

hiii! I've started a couple of these before, but I only post once before abandoning them, and along with it, my revision, so this is basically my blog to vow to myself that I will actually revise
I'm currently in year 10, and my school is very strict on who can and can't take four a levels, and so I need a total of 66 (I think they're called CAT points?). For a level, I really want to take maths, biology, chemistry, and psychology, and since finding out that I need almost all 9s to achieve this, I have been really motivated to study
For gcse, I take:
- AQA Sociology
- AQA Biology
- Edexcel French
- AQA Chemistry
- Edexcel English Literature
- Edexcel Maths
- AQA Physics
- Eduqas English Language
- AQA Religious Studies A
- AQA History
(and I'm starting the further maths course soon, but idk which exam board lol)
I feel like getting 7s, 8s, and 9s in my subjects is realistic, but not for history. I am horrible at history, I love the content, but I am atrocious at exam technique 😭
And I have my history mock tmr 😔
So far, my maths paper 1 mock was horrible, rs was bad, physics was amazing, chemistry was really good, English Language was great, English Literature was heaven sent, sociology was 😨.
Bio and History tomorrow, French on Tuesday, and Maths paper 2 on Wednesday
I'm actually so nervous for history because I am so bad at it 😭
I hope I won't have to drop it

some mocks backkkk:
English language - 9!!! Im so happy, especially because we just swapped exam boardss
english lit - 'barely scraped' a 7 but its still a seven so yayyy i thought i ate so hard though because the 20 marker was on change in a christmas carol - i got 27/40 on the christmas carol component
french - 9!!! 92/98 im actually so happy
sociology - 8! 75/100 - im so annoyed w this one, because it's the mock i cared the most aboutt 😔 4 marks off of a nine is why i'm annoyed, but otherwise i'm really happy - especially because one of the 12 markers was on a topic we have not covered
history - i only got cold war (1/3 of my mock) back so far - but i got a 7, i flopped the 20 marker so badly, i revised history all of the holidays, it was the subject i revised the most for, and now i have intervention 😔
grade boundaries for science and maths are still undecided, but...
Physics - 74%!!! Im so happy i was always so bad at physics! I ate this paper so hard im so happy
chemistry - 70%!!!!! Im so happy, because i love chem, but my exam technique is so bad, this is the first time ive ever gotten above 60% so im delighted
maths - 77%!!!! I came out literally sobbing because i thought i did so badly, but i'm honestly so happy
overall, good so far, i'm getting bio back tomorrow, eds on thursday, no clue when i'm getting rs back ))
