Hello @Okokok22s

I don't study medicine myself but I have noticed that regardless of the subject students study, there does not seem to be specific accommodation that students stay in.

As you probably know, there are two different accommodation sites, The Village Accommodation and The City Accommodation, which are both populated my majority first years. All the different buildings within each site are located really close together, so even if you are Nixon (City Accom) and another medic is Freemens (City Accom) it will only be about a two minute walk between each others accommodation. The Village site is slightly larger but it is also relatively quick to get to your friends accommodation.

I hope this is useful and please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions regarding accommodation!

I put city accoms on my list because they’re close to the medical school building
Hiiii 👋

all Accommodation options are good.
The Student Village is located in Oadby, which is about a 40-45 minute walk and a 20 minute bus ride from campus. However there's a free University shuttle bus service that runs regularly between the student village and main campus, and stops a 2 minute walk to the Medical School and the city accommodation is a 6-7 minute walk to the school.

It all just boils down to you personal routines and preferences, considering things like your personal budget, are you a morning person (you'd have to catch a bus to your 9am lecture)?
do you prefer to live surrounded by nature and greenery or more in the city ?

But all in all there's no designated accommodation for med students; you get the choice to mingle and meet people from all walks of life.
