Applied for the wrong year! Architecture University of Nottingham

Ok so I don’t know why I have such horrible attention skills to not have realised I applied for 2026 entry instead of 2025 to study Architecture at the University of Nottingham , and I am NOT planning on a gap year. I am only realising this now and I’m so scared it’s very late and I wouldn’t have a place, I’ve already emailed the admissions office but does anyone have a vague idea of if I will be successful or not cause I’m so scared as UoN is literally the only university I actually want to go to and received a successful offer for (2026 apparently).

Anything would be helpful

Since you have a deferred offer, just contact admissions and ask if you can have it changed for entry for this year.

There's no guarantee but as they made you an offer it's certainly possible :smile:

Is it best to call, cause I talked to someone from Nottingham help centre earlier today but they said I should fill in an enquiry form which will take a few days for me to get back.

They may not be able to do anything immediately anyway if you call, so I'd probably just suggest completing the form and waiting a week or two and see what comes back. If you don't get any response by mid-May I'd chase them up.
