i have studyed before both my grandads died and a close family friend. the first grandad of a sudden heart attack another with lung cancer. the family friend my grandmas partner of a stroke. i was very depressed and it affected my sleep i wasnt in a the right place to go into uni. when i applied for my loan they said they wouldnt pay for the first year. so they asked for proof which i sent. then they paid for the first year. for my secord year they wanted a cover letter explaining about what happened which i sent 2 weeks ago. have to wait for a month to six weeks to know what will happen. today i had a letter saying they will pay me a maintence loan but not my fees. that money would pay my fees. plus i have set money aside out of my loan. is there anything i can do to get a loan for my uni fees. was thnking of trying to get death certificates to proof it. plus i was told over the phone they will pay 3 years and a repeat year. i am very stressed out and worried

Hi there, for to seek to have tuition fees applied, this would require further compelling personal reason evidence for review. Any additional evidence which you feel will help your claim, we would advise to submit to us for review. Where applicable, we recommend evidence is signed and dated, confirms the reason why you could not continue with their studies; and when this took place. We can accept photocopies of the following.

Medical evidence from a GP on headed paper.

Letter from the university on headed paper.

Letter from Social Services, clergy or professional person on headed paper.

Death Certificate and/or a Birth Certificate.

The above list is not exhaustive and any evidence that can support the claim should be sent to us for consideration.
Thanks, Stephen.
