Social life at LAET or Woodhouse?

I currently have conditional offers at both sixth forms and am not sure what to do! I am planning on studying eng lit, Art and music (+politics if at laet). I am quite a social person but am also high achieving (predictions of all 8/9s) so i really dk what to do! so worried abt lack of diversity etc so do let me know!

i live 10 minutes away from laet and 1 hr away from woodhouse so really not sure!

thx

Definitely go laet

Laet is a hundred times better (biased). Overall I felt from the open day that wood house just had this neeky weird vibe to it. laet has nice events almost every other week ( Pyjama day culture day Ramadan events, Christsoc events etc

hii some people i know at laet say that they have little time for social life and hangouts due to the immense amount of schoolwork and high pressure to do well. im worried that i will have little time for social activities etc

success of A levels depends on your independent work, no matter what college. I personally find enough time to hangout with friends almost daily outside of school

Personally speaking ive never seen anyone who’s always alone. There are so many people who were the only ones from their school or they just dont like the people that came to laet from their secondary. If you’re worried about making friends then rest assured. There’s so much to do at laet that you’ll make friends naturally just by going to some of those extracurricular clubs. Even if you’re not that social, you’ll find the friends you’re looking for cuz i see people with 0 social skills and still walk around the school with like 50 different people (obv at different times)
