Uni Of Bristol Accomadation

I’m applying for accommodation at Uni of Bristol for September 2025 and I’m stuck on my third choice for accommodation. I have decided on Hiatt Baker for my top choice and Badock for my 2nd choice. I know I want to be in north village and I want accommodation that’s very sociable and like partying. However I do not want one that is very upper class like wills or Churchill! Does anyone have any suggestions for my third choice? Thank youuu

Hey, it depends if you wanted self catered or catered. If you want catered I’d recommend Durdam which is also in the north village ( I put hiatt baker first and then durdham) if you wanted catered though you might be better off putting a Clifton choice as I’m not sure there’s many options other than wills and Churchill!

Hi there,

I don't go to the University of Bristol, but hopefully I can help a little!

I can't find it myself, but maybe Bristol has a way you can chat to current students? Most universities have a UniBuddy page, so it would be worth searching for this to see if you can chat to students about their experiences in accommodation.

Searching social media can also be super helpful. Have you tried looking through Instagram or TikTok? Universities themselves may post content, and I've had a little look and it seems like a lot of students do too!

I hope this helps,

Pick from places in the city centre - not out at Stoke Bishop.

SB means you will spend half your life waiting for buses, and instead being in the city centre means you will have nightlife/shopping etc literally on your doorstep. You will have a much better student-experience.
