Is the housing association simply messing me around

Not ti make this long winded but I would like your* opinion on this.

Basically I was a tenant of 3 extremely bad Housing associations who ALL enabled severe racial hatred done on towards me , spanning* 3 decades each.

The first* Housing association also caused me to be hospitalised and I nearly died because they refused to fit the property with central heating causing me to have multiple panic attacks . This Housing also was responsible for racial hatred that was caused to me by the neighbours.

The two others had me endured the same thing- in terms of the Racism. I was physically assaulted, verbally abused every day and had possessions vandalised. I even lost my job as a result.

Anyways , the last two associations I gave 4 weeks notice and left.* Prior to this i was bullied, blackmailed and lies told about me ,by the housing officiers ,* all because they wanted me to be silent about what I was going through.

I made it known what had happened to me via social media attaching a full video featuring some of the events* they had been endure.

After leaving the property, I had to approach a loan shark to assist me to move,. The charity bodies , MP , ombudsman , cojncil etc* whom I approached during the thick of the events ghosted me and refused to help.

The first 6 months after I , I approached a loan shark to assist with the removals and temporary I stayed at backpacking hostels, sofa suffering and on the streets .

Eventually I was able to secure a private room ( whom I found via an acquaintance) .

Although it was not ideal, I was so desperate to successfully get through 6 months tenancy* so I woild no longer have a connection to the area associated with my last racist Housing association.

The current area I live was* not by choice and later I found it to be a tremendous set back as the housing association for the area has been highly* publicised ( via BBC news) and* documented* as being insititualised racists and cause a death of a black infant due onstitalised Racism.

Prior to this I had registered with them and I noticed that whenever I called* they were extremely abrupt and stand offish .

Anyways I was awarded a low banding even though I was told ijitally my application will be assess on a case by case basis and what happened previously with the last* housing association will be taken into consideration when assessing my application, for only it to be a lie.

I noticed* after I was awarded a low banding* at the bottom of the page it said in dark bold letters that even though you are open to bid if nonsense behaviour , you will not be offered a property ( or words to that effect). At first, I thought it was a general thing that was on all letters, but the more time went on, their was a possibility they were giving a heads up to the real deal ?

To me,* I was thinking because they have the nerve to* feel that* I should have tolerated* the intense toxic Racism thrust upon me , keep quiet and have these housing associations continue to collect their rent snd potentially jeopardise my own well being , that I won't be* housed.

Anyhow I continued to bid .

A year have past and I have been constantly checked on the status of my bids . although the higher prioety banding* where a regular feature ( as they should). I noticed that one property ( that I bid for) had the* lowest bids , within a few days on my accountt it had showed for me as " not prioritised or unsuitable ) . So l looked into this and found

"nsuitable Tenant:

Housing associations may decide an applicant is unsuitable due to factors like unacceptable behavior, rent arrears, or a history of failing to comply with tenancy agreements.*In such cases, they may not be considered for a property, even if they have registered and bid.*"

It* begs me to wonder* if they are just simply* allowing me to bid knowing full well that I will never be considered for a property.

On top of that I recently discovered that the previous association are in partnership with them , which would put me at a considerable disadvantage as it is know Corrupt snd crooked housing associations stick together snd they will certainly have a hand in their decision. Also when I emailed the housing officer he was utterly nasty stating they will not consider a change to my banding snd maybe I should continue to find a private property

Although on occasion when i get through to some nuce advisors, i am being told they is nothing untowards on my application and everything is fine, at other times i am constantly sent round in circles .constsntly being told it is the council that makes the decision on considering me for a property and* council saying it is the association. One advisor eluded to the fact the reason because of the colour of my skin as to one of the reasons i am constantly been messed around and the reason why the association keeps sending me back to the council because they are fearful of the backlash

It seems to me the council have no intentions of housing me snd are just keeping me on a register.* They advise if there are any changes to let them knoe- which I won't be doing . (Although I have been experiencing to awful stuff at my current housing situation) as they are insensitive horrible people. Whom I feel will only relish and gloat at what I have had to endure

My queation is why keep my on the registor if they hsve no intentions of giving me a hom?

Why are the housing associations getting the sole blame for any racism you encounter in the community or from neighbours?

This works both ways, if these associations are so racist, corrupt and hateful, and you openly despise them, why keep trying to do business with them?
