University of Bristol Foundation

Hi everyone, I have a question about my offer from university of Bristol. I apply to their international foundation with a bsc business management progression. I apply through Kaplan and recieved an unconditional offer. I was wondering is it possible that this could be a mistake because I read one post earlier how university of Bristol offer somebody the wrong offer. Please if anyone can provide support that would be helpful.

Your offer comes from Kaplan for a 1-year foundation course, it does not come from Bristol.

Kaplan is a private education services provider, and is also a business partner with Bristol Uni. Bristol Uni guarantees admitting Kaplan graduates attaining certsin grades to Bristol undergraduate courses. So do check the requirements on grades required by Bristol for progression. Many UK unis have similar agreements with other providers like Study Group and INTO.

A few (very few) unis provide international foundations on their own, incl UCL, Queen Mary and SOAS.

Is the time for reply to Bristol-Kaplan imminent? You may check some more before deciding.

I havw an uncondtional offer from the foundation course. I was worried because I didn’t submit my A level and only my As level and my Ielts UKVI. I was hoping that they wouldn’t ask me for my A level after giving me a unconditional offer.

I see.

Your unconditional was based in AS-Level and IELTS. International foundations usually do not require A-Levels.

Really? So UOB international foundation programme doesn’t require A level?
