KCL Accommodation 2024-25
Hi everyone! I'm looking for King's Accommodation from 2024-25, I'm a returning student so the portal isn't open yet for us and I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck this year with booking (both new or returning students).
I've heard the availability is low and I'm just worried about the process if anyone could share their experience with the Residences portal this year it would be incredibly helpful!!
Were there a lot of rooms available on the portal? How easily did you manage to book your room? When did you end up booking your room?

hey, I'm a new student and yes, most of the good locations such as Stamford (closer to Strand and Waterloo) have already been booked, and I checked the portal a month ago! Apart from that, I think my experience was alright with the portal, website worked fine, ended up booking a room at hayloft point (10th floor at 360 per week)

It opened up for returning students yesterday actually

Hi ! I would advise you to make a list of which residence you want by order of priority, and be able to book very fast when it opens (I mean in less than 30 seconds). Each second mattered when I booked, and every good location was already taken. By the way, I'm leaving my room at London Bridge in June, if you want I can transfer it to you for summer and next year. Let me know !
