The Student Room Group

Anglia Ruskin Chelmsford accommodation - girls only

I’m thinking of firming ARU to study med, but that means I would have to move out. However, I’ve called and emailed to request an all girls flat due to religious reasons, but I was told they can’t guarantee it and instead it would be up to me to look at the booked rooms and check the gender of those who booked it. The only issue is that what if they decide to cancel or it’s difficult for me to find a room with just girls. Any advice would be appreciated or if anyone is in the same position as me then we could request to book rooms in the same flat!!

Am going to ARU Chelmsford this September too to study Medical Science. And am also moving out of my home to the student village. I wish I’d seen this earlier because I was worried about this same issue too because of my religion. I would definitely book rooms in the same flat with you girly! But I’ve already booked a room and am sharing a flat with another girl and a guy.
