Strathclyde University, Degree Classification?
Hi,
I’m currently in my fourth year at strathclyde uni, and so far for my honours class i’ve received 60%, a module where I got 64%, and i’m waiting to hear back about another class and my dissertation.
I don’t think I have performed well in either of them - I think in one module i’m going to barely secure a pass, and i’m thinking a 2:2 for my dissertation, I unfortunately lost my dad and that kind of threw me off balance.
I was just wondering if anyone at strathclyde could tell me how humanities degrees are calculated and what grade I’d expect to receive.

Hey Anon! Have you managed to chat to anyone about this yet? I'd recommend reaching out to your advisor of students if you've not had a chance to yet, and they can maybe provide some clarity. The breakdowns may also be included in the course handbook if you're able to see that on MyPlace.
What is it you've been studying, and when will you likely be hearing the outcome of your degree? It can be nerve-wracking waiting but try not to worry too much as you've done everything you can so far (although I know that's easier said than done!).
