Does anyone recommend Garden Halls/College Hall?

Hiya, I'm an LSE LLB offer-holder and I'm looking at Garden Halls and College Hall. I've heard some good things about the facilities of both, but some bad things about them as they're intercollegiate halls and some say that students from other unis don't like to mix. Would anyone be able to give me their advice/view on the matter please?
I really like both as they offer the type of room I'm looking for (single private ensuite) and they're a good distance away from campus.

My daughter has an offer for Management at LSE and has just confirmed her booking at Garden Halls. She has booked a single room in the townhouses ( self-catered) and will share a bathroom with one other. We took a walk up there (dead easy and took about 20-25 mins) after the offer holder day this week and really liked the location and facilities. Didn't get to see the room but they look decent on the website!

thank you so much for the reply!! if i could just ask - how long after booking garden halls on the portal did your daughter receive the booking confirmation?? i booked garden halls on wednesday but still haven’t received a confirmation which is worrying me slightly!

That took ages. After two weeks my daughter messaged the LSE details on the accomodation site. The next day they emailed to say they had passed the details to the University of London and the day after that we got the email confirmation and completed the booking. We too were a bit anxious about it all due to lack of any kind of communication!

that’s such a long time to wait!! i’m especially anxious as, when i booked accomm, the availability of my preferred room type seemed very limited so i would hate for them to give my room to someone else if they don’t confirm my booking soon. i’m thinking i may do what your daughter did on monday - email lse for them to pass on my details… i do wish the system was a bit simpler, i think they definitely have the advanced technological capabilities to automatically pass on this information to UoL 😂

hi! i also booked garden on Friday via lse and haven’t heard back.. getting a bit anxious but they did say within 7 days so fingers crossed 🙏

Can anyone help me! I just received an offer for LLB and want to apply to Garden Halls but it says its not open for bookings on the LSE accomodation site. How did you guys manage to apply for it? Thanks in advance!
