Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what a timetable would look like for 1st year at Cardiff uni for Business management or even Cardiff metropolitan, as I will need to get a part time job for living expenses, what the work life balance would be like! Thanks guys!
Could you get into contact with the departments of Business Management in both universities? They will likely be able to send you the timetable or give you more accurate information.

Yes, I definitely would recommend contacting either admissions team!

Hello,
I hope you are well.
For Business and Management, you can contact the programme director Lisa Wright via [email protected] who will be able to confirm the timetable for you.
Normally you will only require to be on campus for three to four days so you should have some time to do part time job.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected].

Hi, Did you manage to get in contact with the admissions team were they helpful. You can also use the number of credits of a module as a slight guide-line. So I can see on the Business Management course here at Cardiff in first year, you will do 120 credits total (which is normal), but they have spaced them out so you'll have 6 modules per term, 5 which are 20 credits, and span across the whole year, and 1 10 credit module in each term (autumn and spring). The UK uni guidelines suggest 200 hours of study (that will include in-class and personal study) for 20 credit modules, and 100 hours for 10 credits. Typically lectures are 1-2 hours long, seminars 1 hour and you might have one lecture and seminar week for each 20 credit module. Our terms are each 10 weeks long. I hope this is helpful. Part-time work is not uncommon while at uni as well. Any other questions please let me know!
