Hi everyone, I’m a 19-year-old guy, and I’m trying to figure some things out. I’ve noticed I’m really attracted to girls with curvier body types, especially bigger butts, and I think it might be a fetish or just a strong preference. I’ve never had a girlfriend or much experience, so I feel super shy about this. I worry that it’s weird or that girls might judge me if I’m too open about what I like. Is it normal to feel this way at my age? How can I embrace my preferences without feeling awkward? Also, any tips on how to talk to girls or bring this up in a respectful way if I’m dating someone? Thanks for any advice, I really want to understand myself better and feel more confident.

Yeah, it's super common to feel drawn to folks, and honestly, everyone's got their own thing they're into. Some people are really into certain body types, like the shape of someone's backside, but it's just different for everyone. What one person thinks is drop-dead gorgeous, another might not even notice or care about, and that's cool! People are into all sorts of different stuff, you know?

You do seem a little different from others, and that can be hard. It is completely normal to be scared sometimes – that is just part of being human and it helps to keep us safe. You are not alone in how you are feeling, even if it seems like others are not.
