MFL uni students: do you feel like your skills have regressed?

i'll probably go into more details in a reply in the thread or come back and edit this later, but has anyone else noticed a regression in their MFL that they are learning at university on a post-A level track?

all the grammar we were taught in semester 1 was just revision of what we did at A level. i got a great grade in the grammar exam at the end of sem 1 and it only took me like 2 hours to thoroughly revise all the content we were taught

edit: i am studying French post A-level (although it's hard to believe we actually are post A) and Chinese ab initio
