Hiya guys, I’m currently revising the Germany part of higher history and I’m struggling omg . I’ve got the nazi essays in the bag but unification just isn’t sticking. Does anyone have any model answers or tips and tricks?? Also what’s everyone’s opinions on evaluation??

does anyone know how you're meant to go about doing evaluation because I know it's about like weighing up the importance of the factor overall but every time I tried that my teacher just said to make it "better" which isn't helpful tbh anyways does anyone have any tips

to gain an evaluation point you need to evaluate + make reference to a historians view or a new knowledge point. these are the hardest points to gain so would focus on hitting all other marks first.

I add in one piece of extra knowledge to support my decision (either on importance or effectiveness) and then I compare to the most important factor if it's that type of essay. I've been getting 22 mark essays but I think my teacher is really lenient

I feel sooo stressed out, I as I feel I don't understand/won't remember much information for the Cold War, this is also because I got 0/22 on the cold war prelim essay. But I did get 17/22 on the Votes for women essay in the prelim so if I add evaluation points I could get 22/22, hopefully. How likley is the votes for women essay going to come up in the exam, do you think?

I know yeah, because I do psychology as well, and we all thought the diathesis-stress model won't come up but it did. I really want votes for womne to come up though as I'm really good at it, i'm going to revise some of the others like labour and liberal reforms. Has your class done issue 1 of the britain stuff, we skipped over it

yea we've done issue 1, ik that one hasn't come up in a really long time so people are saying it's most likely to come up, honestly if it's not issue 5 that comes up I'm cooked. votes for women would be OK as well. theonly one we skipped was 2 but I didn't study 4 either. hopefully issues 3 and 5 come up

Oh no that means I’m going to have to learn seven essays by Friday, i do Germany for European world so I don’t have USA but maybe that’s a good thing if you think they are similar. I’ve got three exams in a row, and history is my last so what essay question do u think is least likely to come up, as i really don’t be having the time to learn them all!

I have no idea, but good luck, girl!!!

your essay can pretty much be bullet points so if you can write it in time, pulling it all together shouldn't add much more time. keep a clear pace and structure and move swiftly from one point to the next, ensuring you are hitting each K,A and Aplus mark.
