should i be worried about cardiff's growing financial troubles and increasing job cuts? cardiff is one of my options for law and im worried that if i insure it, my time in uni might be affect by the financial troubles and everything else. im starting this september and im also an international student if that makes a big difference

I am only going to Cardiff and are worried about this, from what I’ve seen it’s only certain subjects in which will be affected and law was not one of them.

Don't over worry. Every UK uni is facing the same problem. Durham staff union just announced marking boycott.

Hi there,

As said above, its not something to be terribly worried about at the moment! Course changes and School mergers are a fairly common thing to happen at universities, they just don't usually happen on a bigger scale like now. Its happening across many universities in the UK, so its not just unique to Cardiff. Plus, nothing is set in stone yet, and nothing is going to be changed quickly. Anyone starting their course in 2025 will still be able to do so.
