Carlston Hill or Central Village (Leeds Accomm)

As above. Torn between the two. Anyone have any experiences (good or bad) in either of these halls?
I will be studying dentistry- i know carlston hall is further, but I'm not bothered as I enjoy walking.

carlton hill is just as close as central tbh (maybe 2 minutes walk longer??) but carlton is Really hard to get into. me and a lot of my flatmates put carlton as first preference but got put into cityside instead. carlton is def nicer, washing machine in the flat, cat in the lobby, newer accom, but don't get your hopes up like i did !!

How are you finding cityside? Is it similar to central village or would you say its better?

all accoms have gone up in price a little bit since last year (about £5 extra per week), with central being slightly cheaper than cityside by a few quid. cityside is really nice, it feels like a hotel in the lobby. the rooms are spacious, plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen (if you organise it equally at the start of the year), plenty of under-bed storage, the beds are really comfy. i have had quite a few silverfish but silverfish are everywhere in leeds accom. if you email reception, they're quite prompt about getting pest control in to spray pesticides.

i don't really know anything about central village tbh, but i think the only difference is that cityside is more modern. cityside also has its own gym but being in uni accom gets you off-peak membership for the university gym
