University of Sheffield Accommodation

Hi,, I firmed University of Sheffield and am applying for Architecure. I was wondering if there are any reccomendations with what accommodation was like? Like with environment and commuting. I feel a bit confused on what to choose.

Congratulations on your offer!
Here is a link for the different locations/types of accommodation provided by the University.

We have 3 main locations:

•

Ranmoor & Endcliffe - 5-10 minutes away from each other and around a 15-20 minutes walk to the Student Union

•

Allen Court - in the city centre and around a 10 minute walk to the SU

•

St Vincent's Place - also around a 10 minute walk to the SU

The majority of students do stay in Ranmoor and Endcliffe with a mixture of shared bathrooms, en-suite and catered accommodation. In my first year, I chose to stay in Allen Court as most of my lectures were in the Diamond so it was a 2 minute walk, making it really convenient.
