University of Manchester HUMS PhD funding/scholarships
I have applied for UoM HUMS PhD fundings/scholarships for two years. But none of these applications was successful. My supervisor told me that my research proposal was good. And my bachelors degree was a first class degree. I got a distinction during my master’s program. I even published three articles, one of which is SSCI. Could anyone tell me why I failed so many times? I’m so confused and disappointed. And if any of you was in the same situation, please tell me what to do!

How many scholarships were on offer? Was your degree in one of the subjects that the funding might be offered for?

I don’t know the exact numbers. Yes, my subject is on the list.
