Weird question, but how do I keep cool?

I have very pale & thin skin and get hot very easily. My first summer at college is coming up and it's getting very warm - how can I keep myself cool?

what i do is get an empty spray bottle from like, a hair product or smth, and put cold water in it and just carry that around w me and spray it on myself when I get hot
Carry a portable USB fan around with you.
Wear linen or cotton, not synthetic materials.
Tie your hair up if it's long.
Wear loose clothing.

not during the day, but on those humid nights I have a hot water bottle with cold water in bed
