defer teacher training two thirds of the way through.

I started my teacher training in september and I'm currently two thirds of the way through but have been recently been told by my mentor and staff within my training provider that I'm not making sufficient progress as of late (I have a very hectic home life at the minute and its impacting everything else) so they have suggested I press pause and return in september to complete and I should be able to be qualified by the christmas half term. Has anyone done this? they have said that I wouldn't have to repay my fees if I decide to continue in the september but I'm just worried about what it would look like maintenance loan wise as I believe I'll be unable to recieve anymore funding.

Keep going. These people (what subject are you doing) will try and stymie you now and forever. Say thank you very much and I want to finish now in June please. Raise it to someone higher than the jobsworths who are hindering you. From what I have seen, it's not a question of passing because you are the best, but because there are those who are worse and have passed. Keeping going.
