Psych work experience!

soo, as you know, it is very hard to find psychology work experience. I want to go into psychology specifically want to be a child psychologist (perhaps educational one) and I'm trying to find some work experience for psychology I can do over the summer (I'm in year 12 btw)
HERE ARE THE THINGS I'VE DONE SO FAR:
-I'm a mental health ambassador in my school
-I'm a peer mentor in my school (I mentor younger kids from lower years in my school)
-I'm the psychology subject ambassador
-I volunteer with a mental health organization
-I have emailed primary schools to see if I can help out with the SEN department in their school. (not received a reply yet)
- I will volunteer at a dementia care home in the summer.

I think I need more for my UCAS!!!!!
what do you guys think?

Psychology is an academic degree for which you do not need work experience. For your PS you need to show your interest in the subject by additional reading, MOOCs and podcasts, etc. and then reflect on what you have learned/found interesting (i.e. you don't just list what you have done).

Have a look at some of the recommendations on the Cambridge website under the Psychological and Behavioural Sciences tab:

Wow, that's a lot! I don't think you need to do anything else. For UCAS, you want to focus on your personal statement, which is going to get you into a university. I would use online guides and advice from school to craft your personal statement and definitely draw on these experiences to reflect on why you want to study psychology and what you've learned.

Work experience in psychology is definitely competitive, however the work you are doing now (especially the dementia care home) will help you get your foot in the door when it comes to getting other roles. For UCAS, I wouldn't take on any extra activities now, just focus on getting the grades needed to be accepted. Once you're accepted, you can then use these experiences to apply for other roles to help you become a child psychologist.

Keep up the great work!

You should focus on doing wider reading, articles, podcasts etc. Work experience isn't required for psychology PS and you have more than enough

i didnt have any work experience in my ps, just talked about podcasts ive listened to, books ive read, courses ive taken and why im interested in biopsychology, and got all 5 of my offers for psych, 4 of them from russell groups. you probably couldnt even fit more in your personal statement, its so easy to go over the character limit haha but you have more than enough! dont worry!

This would all be fine if you were applying for Mental Health Nursing.
As noted above, Psych is an academic degree subject and one with a theoretical focus.
Do some relevant reading.
