structure for 12 markers in gcse religious studies??

The exam for GCSE RS is in less than two weeks now but I’m starting to get a bit worried about my 12 marker structure after seeing exemplar answers online.

My teachers teach the DREARER structure: Disagree (point), Religion (evidence), Evaluate (explanation + judgement), Agree (point), Religion (evidence), Evaluate (explanation + judgement) and Reach a Conclusion (own opinion).

However, exemplar answers (using the letters from the DREARER structure) use: DRE (x2), ARE (x2) and R. This seems almost impossible to write in the 15 minute advised time (including planning) and I end up having to chip off some of my judgement on the argument in the evaluate segment or cut some corners with explanations. I still managed to get an 8 overall in a whole RS Paper 1 + 2 mock, but my 12 markers 100% let me down (never 11 or 12 marks in Paper 1).

TLDR: Can’t write two paragraphs each for both agreeing/disagreeing with the statement without cutting off some corners with the explanations or evaluations. What’s the structure that you use to secure a grade 9??

For GCSE RE introduce the topic (2-3 sentences) have for an against points for your paragraphs backing them up with religious significance I think trying to teach a specific structure is always difficult sometimes it's appropriate to have a for and against for a specific point other times it isn't for example one of your paragraphs could have a point and a counter to that specific to the point you made (ie some would say.. others would counter this saying..) others can just be a specific for or against (ie this religious denomination would disagree because..). For a high grade as long as your essay follows some structure don't worry about it being the same throughout, your conclusion can be your 'own opinion' but I wouldn't go for an 'I think..' its usually that there is an equal amount of supporting and counter arguments so basically safe to say you cant reach a definitive conclusion because of xyz, you could also add in another point you haven't managed to fit in your essay and say thats what you think (even if it isn't lol). For the top marks ensure you're always linking back to the question it feels silly to do it but at the end of a paragraph summarising why that point is for/against the specific thing youre evaluating helps to show you know what you're talking about.
