University of Sheffield Translational Neuroscience vs UCL Clinical Neuroscience MSc

Hi,

I have received an offer from the University of Sheffield for Translational Neuroscience MSc and from UCL for the Clinical Neuroscience MSc for next year, and I'm having a really hard time choosing between the 2, so I was hoping to hear the opinions of others.

Both courses are good in terms of content and research, but I prefer the module options at UCL slightly more, and have heard that UCL is a better facility, has more prestige, and has more networking connections, such as more links to companies, opportunities and start-ups for an industry job later on, especially if I want to branch out into neurotechnology (I'm not sure yet though). However, I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Sheffield and have a good support group and friends here. As an introvert who struggles with socialising and knows it will impact my mental health, I'm worried I will struggle with that at UCL, which would impact my education, and I'm afraid that would prevent me from making full use of my time there. Also, in terms of cost of living and tuition fees, Sheffield is really a lot more affordable, and I'll get the alumni discount, and going to UCL would mean I would have to commute from home, as the post-graduate loan doesn't cover the tuition fee at all.

Any advice or opinions would be appreciated here, thank you.
