Work experience in gap year

Considering taking a gap test next year and planning on taking on an accounting apprenticeship the year after. What work experience do you think I can get into to help my chances with applying to apprenticeships for the year after? Preferably something that doesn’t require experience.

Look for an entry level bookkeeping/ accounts assistant/office junior job full time for the next year...and then you can apply for accounting apprenticeships as and when they come up.
Then if you are unsuccessful you can keep the job and build on your professional skills to help with your apprenticeship applications.
