2:2 in MEng Mechanical Engineering- am I still screwed with a 2:2 even with an MEng?

Basically the title, I did all the calculations and it's very likely I'll graduate with a 2:2, although I am doing an MEng.

I have two internships, one with a very big company.

How unemployable am I?

Thank you
Hi!

My advice would be to look at the job opportunities available and see what the requirements are and get in touch with the recruitment teams. I'd also suggest getting in touch with the internships that you did as well to see if they have any job roles for you!

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

I'm planning on applying to grad schemes in September. They'll ask for a 'predicted grade' and speaking to people from my uni they recommended just saying you're predicted a 2:1 even if you're nowhere near that.

If I get a grad scheme with a 2:1 requirement but graduate with a 2:2, is it possible for the company to show leniency? eg, if they particularly liked my prior work experience for example?

I've heard by predicting yourself a 2:1 irrespective of your current grades, it is a good way of getting past the 2:1 filter (since predicted grades are subjective anyway). by not getting auto filtered out they can at least read your CV even if you'll realistically not get a 2:1.
