Preparatory reading for PPE
This is mostly for people already studying to suggest books that they wish they had before starting their courses, but I'm also interested to know what other prospective students are planning on reading before they start their courses!
Some books I plan to read over the summer include:
False Economy, Alan Beattie
The Crisis of Democratic Capitalism, Martin Wolf
How They Broke Britain, James O'Brien
The Myth of Sisyphus, Albert Camus
How Britain Ends, Gavin Esler
Not really anything aimed at preparing for the course, just building on a general knowledge and interest in each of the three subjects, but looking m for explicitly preparatory books.
