Hi!

I might not be much help...but I'll tell you what I know (hopefully there's something useful 😬)

I was taught that for a description, to maximise all the marks, you should follow this structure
Drop (overview of the 5 senses)
Shift (flashback/flashforward or a change in time, to show the contrast between the present and past/future)
Zoom (go back to the present picture- then zoom into 1 element of the picture- something you could write a lot about)
Leave (fly away/zoom out- in other words, describe what it's like around the fishing village, in different villages, how does it contrast, etc.)

I would plan each of those 4 points and then start writing. For example, I could write for 'Drop', hear- birds, wind, smell- barbecue nearby, etc.

I literally just learnt this like last week (because I'm just starting my GCSE course) but hopefully it's something helpful...

I hope it was somewhat useful? I apologise if I just repeated what your teacher or textbook said 😭

Good Luck!
