is there a possibility to get my first payment from second year of maintenance early,

is there a possibility to get my first payment from second year of maintenance early, (aug instead of sept), or part of the loan. I need to cover first months rent and am going to be unable otherwise, may risk loosing my tennancy and having no where to live.

I have been living on a friends sofa throughout first year due to previous financial issues. but need to get moved out.

Hi fenwick1107,

Payments can't be released until the university send the electronic confirmation of registration and your 1st term has started.

You would be best speaking to citizens advice or the financial department at the university as they may be able to provide further guidance to you.
