Kcl kaas 25/26

Hi guys has anyone applied for the 25’/26’ Kings Accomodation Affordability Scheme (KAAS) if so did you only get access to book a KAAS room for 1 week on the portal before it gets revoked and you have to book a room with a standard rates only ?

That's exactly how it's documented as working. See the King’s Affordable Accommodation Scheme page on the KCL web site, which says:

"If you are approved for KAAS, you will be given one week from approval to secure accommodation with this rate. Should you fail to book a KAAS room within a week of receiving your approval email, the KAAS offer will be withdrawn and you will be asked to book a room at the published rate."

it took me 8 days to get approved for KAAS

I got approved last week Friday but It bad taken time because I had to wait ages for my sfe but once I sent the entitlement it was like 3 days

Hi, I've got the same issue but my deadline is approaching tomorrow. They've said to just keep refreshing the portal as they are aware there are no rooms and that deadlines may get extended due to the bank holiday and no rooms being released.

My deadline is tomorrow but if I get my KAAS revoked I am homeless for second year as I cannot afford any other options.

Have you contacted the accommodation office to explain this, and to ask for assistance?

No I wasn’t able to book and I just got an email revoking my kaas status but I’ll call them again today cause they literally didn’t release any accommodations which is so annoying !
