Seamless vs Seamed Tights

i really like seamless tights, thats the sort without the seam sort of joining the two sides that goes up between your legs. i like how they look and feel on me. the trouble is they size up really small, even though im short with short legs, some are still are to tight even though they are called one size fits all. also, they are expensive and often seem to get holes or ladder really easily, often on the first wear, in fact if i go out i often take a spare pair in my bag. does anyone else wear them a lot and do you think there worth the cost considering they dont last long? have you found a really good brand? links to amazon or elsewhere would be helpful. ta

I have a couple of seamless tights but don't often wear them. I do find that they don't last as long as other tights as well as the sizing is slightly smaller. I kind of like normal tights slightly better just for the overall look when wearing them with my knickers underneath.

Seamless tights are good for when you're wearing a tight fitting skirt or dress on a night out but apart from that I prefer to wear seamed tights with control shorts because they're cheaper and more durable

I totally get what you mean seamless tights feel amazing, but they can be a gamble with sizing and durability. I’ve found they’re great for special occasions, but for everyday wear I stick with seamed ones because they last longer. Calzedonia and Heist are two brands I’ve had decent luck with; they’re pricier but fit better and don’t ladder quite as fast. Still, I always keep a backup pair in my bag too just in case!

yes thats the one really annoying thing about them, but they used to be even more expensive. found some really good ones on amazon recently, i bought a pair for under £10 and they've been really good so far, survived a couple of washes even though they are very skimpy.
