Goldsmiths music

Hi all - we’ve heard there are lots of cuts to staffing at Goldsmiths and that the music degree has lost 11 lecturers. Is this true? My son had hoped to go there to read music but is worried as just got an email from the uni saying they have made changes to the course and we are hearing of students leaving etc - I want him to go somewhere well funded and resourced

Sorry late reply only just logged back in. We’ve heard from other staff at goldsmiths and students too - and I’ve read some articles too. Plus son got a letter saying there were changes to the course and I am sure that is related. My son has now withdrawn from applying and has chosen Kings college
