Law degree or law and crimology degree

Hi,

I’m trying to decide whether to study Law and Criminology or just Law at Sheffield Hallam, and I'm feeling really stuck. I'm wondering what the main differences are between the two courses. How do they compare in terms of difficulty? Also, what are the class sizes like for both, and what's the workload like? I tend to do better with assignments than exams, so I'm curious if one course is more assignment-based than the other. Finally, are there more seminars or lectures in each course? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Go with your interest. If you have interest in any of them then you will never face any issue with assignments.
First find out which subject is more related to your interest.

Hi! I'm currently a first year doing Law and Criminology (At Uni of Leicester) . My course works like this: Law is mostly exams with very few coursework elements but criminology is all coursework. As law is the main degree here, by completeing my crim work, I can spend time on doing readings and essay pratice for law. I think its a nice combo and I really really enjoy it. I think you will also find that the information you learn can be applied to both subjects too! I hope this helps
