Is it realistic to study architecture in london and have a part time job??

Hi,
Im plannng on going UCL for architecture, however a common thing I’ve seen in vlogs from people at the Bartlett is that NONE of them have jobs, and spend 6/7 days a week at the studio… realistically for me to live in London i will need a job on the weekends, and im pretty sure i wont be able to get a scholarship. Im wondering if anyone is at the Bartlett rn and has a part time Job?? i may have to rethink ... 🤔

I heard from a current UCL MArch student who did their undergraduate there as well, that architecture is a really intense course and for many students all-nighters are the norm. So, you might struggle juggling the course and a part-time job...

But perhaps chat with current Bartlett students through their website if you have no luck here before giving up a place at UCL...?
