Using another car for driving test

Hi all,

So my instructor isn’t able to take me to my driving test, so he said his cousin will take me to the test, who is also an ADI at the driving school I go to.

I contacted him, he want to know my driving license number and check code of my license.

I have had a few instructors before, no body has asked me this. Shall I give it to him?

If he is a proper driving instructor, then id give him your licence number.
My first driving instructor never asked to see my driving licence, but my second one asked to see and checked my licence number.

All ADIs should check a new pupil's driving licence before they allow them to drive, this is normal practise.

Yes, this is normal. it would be pretty unprofessional for him to skip it because 'my cousin knows you' and as above, all ADI are really supposed to be asking you for it before they let you drive their car, it's a large part of why you get a provisional licence at all.
