Guys today I have to submit 2 assignments and this is my second attempt and I haven’t done it . What happens if I don’t submit these assignments ?

Hi there,

This really depends on your Uni, as every Uni will have different protocols around this. I would suggest trying to reach out to your uni to find out what it will mean for you. At some Universities you may be able to submit another time, but it is quite likely that as this is your second attempt you will not be able to give it in another time.

It also depends on how your uni marks work as to whether it will mean you fail. Sometimes if you have a good enough grade in other modules or assignments, you can still pass the year, however if you need to pass every assignment individually, you may not pass so it is worth finding out about this.

If your deadline is later on tonight, it may be worth trying your best to submit something, so that you can hopefully at least pass the module. But if you have the chance to submit this another time this would be good too.

In the future, make sure you talk to your module tutor if you ever need any help as they will be there for you and will be able to help you to ensure you can submit it on time.

Thanks for reaching out, it sounds like you've been going through a stressful time.

As has been said, what will happen will depend on your uni's policy. If this is your second attempt you may score 0 marks for submitting nothing with no chance of a resit, but you would have to check this as each uni's policy is different. I would suggest talking to your personal tutor as soon as you can as this is the esact kind of thing they are there to support you with. Perhaps they can help you to understand your options and come up with a plan. It also depends on your deadlines - if they have not yet passed and you still have a few days then I would dedicate what time you have left on the assignments to trying to submit the best attempt you can.

If you're struggling with something outside uni life which is preventing you from making progress with work assignments then have you tried reaching out to your uni's wellbeing team? If you're finding things difficult they could arrange some support for you if you ask for it.
