Ucl accommodation swap

I got an offer for accommodation just today after applying on 25th march and I got it in UCL EAST: one pool street it is pretty but I want something in UCL Bloomsbury, closer to the campus. Does anyone want to swap. Pleasee someone, anyone. . Something like John Adams hall or anything but in Bloomsbury.

this happened to me and a few others aswell! i haven’t seen any other accom offers been sent out and it’s such a pain we’ll be so far from the campus we’re actually studying at for a while. hopefully we’ll find people who want to swap 🤞🤞

The only sure shot of not getting UCL East is to not apply for ensuites and studios at all seeing that UCL East does not have any shared accommodation.

Oh ok. The prospect of a shared bathroom or shared room scared me a lot though. I have no idea what I’ll do.

Hey! I applied for accommodation at UCL and I’ll be studying at the East campus, but when I applied, One Pool Street wasn’t an option on the site, so I ended up putting all my preferences in Bloomsbury. I’d really rather not stay there though 😅
I haven’t heard back with an offer yet, but if I do end up with a Bloomsbury accom (which i probably will), would you maybe be up for doing a swap (if that’s allowed)? Just thought I’d check in case it works out for both of us!

I don’t if you’ve heard back yet, but if not I’m in a similar situation with a single en-suite at one pool street and urgently looking to swap to somewhere near Bloomsbury!
