need help in choosing cardiff uni accom

Hi, I've been having a little trouble in choosing what's the most ideal accom for me as I'm also torn between going communal or private for it. I will be studying radiography in cardiff uni in which my lectures will be in the heath campus.
As of the moment, I have Cloidien house, roy jenkins hall, talybont north but I need 7 more to update my application. I'd prefer an Ensuite (although not strict)and a car park as I will be planning to go back and forth (as i only live quite locally).
In terms of budget for it, i'm hoping below £190 if possible
do you guys have any recommendations (i dont mind help with choosing privately as well ) thank you

Hi!
Congratulations on receiving an offer! In private or uni accom, I would say the main difference, is in private, some won't be cardiff uni students, many are in there later years of uni (not first years), and/or are more mature students, of course there is still a range, this is just my understanding of the main differences. Here are some other options, all with en-suites:

University Halls is not too far from Heath!

Talybont Gate, is quite modern, with a bigger bed (3/4 bed, same as you would find in private accom), and would be the closest of the Talybonts, to Heath

Talybont Court, is also nice

North Court Now Students is a smaller private accom, next to the heath campus

Corner House, also a private accom, on Crwys Road, which has lots of eateries, shops and pubs, along it. Its a little further than the other options given so far, but still not too bad.

Cambrian Point and Severn Point, two private accoms ran by Unite Students, next to each other, also not too far from Heath!

I hope this helps, good luck,
Any other questions let us know!

Could I also ask about car parking? let's just say I got put into an accommodation with no parking lot available. Are there any alternatives or places in where I could park my car perchance?

Glad to hear I could help!
Yeah I mean there are like NCP car parks around the city, they might be quite expensive though, but yeah they have like seasonal and yearly passes.
There are 129 spaces allocated between Talybont North and Talybont Gate, 65 spaces in University Halls, so those might be good ones to prioritise as well. None I think in Talybont Court. And private accommodation I'm less sure of their systems or availability / you might have to ask them.
Hope this helps!
