what is the best/nearest accommodation for medical students??

You'll likely be spending a lot of time around the Medical School in the Edgbaston campus, so choosing nearby accommodation would be a smart move.

Pritchatts Park Village is very popular with postgraduates and close to the Medical School (about a 10–15 minute walk). The Vale Village is, though, a bit further (20–25 minutes walk), but offers a scenic setting and a social atmosphere.Selly Oak Village is closer to the main campus and Medical School.
For private Accommodation alternatives, Selly Oak area would be a top choice for many medical students. It’s just a short walk to the Medical School and has lots of student houses and flats but Harborne would be a much quieter, more residential area with good bus links and a slightly more relaxed vibe, great for postgrads.
If you're doing clinical placements, being near Queen Elizabeth Hospital (right next to the Medical School) is ideal, so Pritchatts Park and Selly Oak are especially convenient.
