How early on should I start applying for accommodation for UCL/Bristol?

I am just wondering should I apply early for accommodation to guarantee a place, or can I leave it after my exams around end of June?

Hi,

This information can be easily found on the University's websites but here you go: For UCL the deadline is the 10th of June for undergraduates and the 30th of June for postgraduates and for Bristol the deadline is the 30th of June. Keep in mind that you will only be guaranteed accomodation if you have chosen said university as your firm choice and have applied before the above deadline. For Bristol it clearly states that accomodations are NOT first come first served but on UCL it wasnt exactly clear.

Do double check what I have said with the university websites and ensure you meet all of the universities elgibility criteria.

Personally, I would decide your firm/insurance and apply for the accomodation earlier rather than later so that you don't have to stress over choosing uni's and the entire application process during the exams and are able to focus on revising. That's what I'm doing too.
