Jobs with biomedical science degree

hey everyone, hope you're all doing well. Im due to graduate this summer with a degree in biomedical science(IBMS accredited) and start medicine in September (undergrad though). someone suggested I get a biomed related job (part time) so that I could actually use my degree to help me cover the tuition fees. does anyone have any suggestions, I have no clue on where to start as most jobs ive seen are full time. ty!

I don’t think that would work with med school icl, they’re very full on and weird shift patterns if you do get part time. I’d look into HCA especially as you’re more likely to get that. Can I ask you about med tho, I didn’t get in this year but only applied to GEM school with GAMSAT.

Unless you did a placement and was awarded the certificate of competence you cant work as a ‘biomedical scientist’ - even if you do this would be difficult as part time jobs don’t really exist there are locum bms roles but these require post registration experience. I would recommend applying for bank MLA (medical lab assistant) roles they have part time contracts and you can earn ~£13 ph
