Should I view this as a red flag?
A guy I’m talking to told me that he still talks to his ex because of some “ business “ they had together but claimed he has no emotional connection to her that’s it’s just business related matters , then he suddenly posts her artwork on his profile photo and won’t own up that she painted it?
When I told him how I’m not interested in a triangle and that he should go back to his ex if he loves her , he got all defensive , accused me of being the one who’s seeing other men and kept asking me “ where’s your proof?” , and that I’m just “ jealous” and getting upset over some artwork which dosent mean anything
Should I believe him or is it more likely that I simply caught him in a lie?

You both sound like red flags a bit here, he's being suspiciously vague about his ex and you're being aggressively jealous of his ex.

Do this guy a favor and leave him. Your relationship is not built on trust, you don't trust him - leave him. It is the best for both of you.
