UCL. Postgrad. Referee wrote wrong course name
Cannot be rectified now. What happens in such situations?

Not much. To be honest most unis just want a general recommendation, not necessarily for that specific course.
Much more egregious when the candidate uploads the wrong personal statement - making reference to the wrong uni and course throughout. This happens a lot more than you would think.

Thanks for the reassurance. My referee recieved an email from KCL regarding this error in the recommendation letter and that's how I realised of this mistake.

Ah, that’s interesting that they spotted that and let your ref know. Did they give them the chance to provide another draft?

Yes, and my referee forwarded it to me, so I made the changes

What courses are you applying to? I'm awaiting response to machine learning and data science and machine learning masters programs at UCL. Was wondering if anyone has heard back. Applied late March. Application status is App under assessment.
