EPQ grade

Hi,
I'm currently in Y13 and I have to decide my insurance choice university; I have not finalised my firm and insurance universities on ucas yet. My firm choice university gave me this offer: BBB plus B in EPQ or just BBB as I qualify as an Access+ student. My insurance choice university gave me this offer: BBB with an alternative condition of BBC including A in EPQ. The problem is that I have not got an A in EPQ, can I still put the university I want to be insurance as my insurance choice?

You can still put your insurance choice as you want it, if you consider that fact that you will need to achieve BBB. However, as you either get into neither or them both with your grades, you can still put it, just know that you will more than likely be going to your firm choice. However, if you want to go to your insurance once you have achieved your results, you can go through clearing and mention they were your insurance and you already had a place, which puts you in a strong position.
