Hi @BestMC26,

Both a degree apprenticeship or a sandwich year can be a great way to gain hands-on experience in your chosen sector. A degree apprenticeship can be a brilliant choice if you want to get straight into earning whilst learning, whereas a sandwich year can give you the opportunity to gain experience for 1 year during your university experience.

You can find out more about degree apprenticeships offered by the University of Central Lancashire here: https://www.lancashire.ac.uk/degree-apprenticeships

Many programmes offer a year in industry with a placement in the UK or abroad. By doing some research and speaking with people in the industry you are interested in, you can find out which option is going to be the best decision for you.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Helena (former Digital Marketing degree apprentice with the University of Central Lancashire)
