IT BTEC Level 3 Unit 2 Creating Systems To Manage Information.

How did everybody find today’s unit 2 exam?

How did everybody do their relationships and did they recognise the 2 one to one relationships?

Couldn’t see any one to many relationships.

I also noticed the 2 many-to-many relationships. I put all three IDs in the joining table but only made VolunteerID and PositionID primary keys, do you guys think that's right? It just felt weird having three primary keys so I thought it was wrong. What did you guys do?
Imo Query B and the report was awful I've never seen anything like it

I just made all the IDs in the 2 joining tables primary keys. I agree it felt wrong having so many but we will see how it goes. And yes I agree that report question was horrendous. Only attempted the first query in question 3 nothing else.

What did you have in each joining table?

Yooo, I did the same thing. The first query was good, and the second one was not the best. But wtf was that report.

In the 4th table, which was the attendance table, I had Volunteer ID and position ID, which were a primary key together(composite key). Then I had the attendance field and the runID field in it as well.

All of mine were 1 to many, there was one many to many but I found a forth table and made it into a one to many

Yeah that report was DIABOLICAL. I fount the query B not too bad but I just had problems with counting the yes/no check box in volunteers attended. it kept giving a negative but still somehow made sense overall. hopefully I picked up marks in the rest though. Smith annoyed me for popping up once for each date, but ended up forgiving him when it came to counting in the query B. Let's see how it all goes 🤩 (I wish I had revised harder for that LowryCastle one in Jan, it was so much easier than this imo)
