Geography Resources

Hi! I’m currently trying to revise geography but it is sooooo difficult to find any resources. I do Edexcel B GCSE geography. I think also my revision techniques for geography probably aren’t the best, which definitely doesn’t help haha. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you so much!

Hiii! I am also currently studying edexcel geography and I find case studies the most difficult to revise. But I use and app called Gizmo to create flashcards and learn about topics. Also for the case studies I do small mind maps with only key facts and memorise the key effects and responses to the case study. I also find that the textbook can sometimes be too lengthy for me to read and learn the key terms and processes, so I try to summarise a double page of textbook notes in one A4 page or less. I really hope this helps!

Hi there,

There’s already some great advice here, and I’d recommend Seneca Learning. They’ve got content for Edexcel B Geography, and the short quizzes can be useful for testing what you know. It’s also quite relaxed and even throws in a few memes here and there, which makes revision feel a bit less boring.

You can use it for free - just go to their site, filter by Edexcel, and scroll to find the Geography B course https://senecalearning.com/en-GB/

Hope that helps a bit, and good luck with everything! 🙂

Hi @Mickey Mouse 1 ,

I'd love to give my advice on this, as I also did GCSE geography.

Firstly, when it comes to choosing the best revision techniques try and refer to these three categories:

Visual 👁- Mind maps, diagrams, colour coding
Auditory 👂- read aloud, audio books and discussions
Kinaesthetic 🤝- building models, taking notes and teaching others

As you can see I have added some examples of revision methods for each learning style. I recommend researching a bit into each style and figuring out which is the most efficient method for you, it may even be a combination.

Secondly, you may prefer to find pre-made resources. You can buy pre-made cards by googling "edexcel geography gcse revision cards." Additionally BBC bitesize cover exam revision for edexcel geography. Another great source is youtube videos, but make sure its from a reputable channel.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
